LEV LIFESTYLE HOTEL – a seven-storey apart-complex ten minutes from the centre of Lviv. Simple geometric volumes, a large area of glazing, and a cascade of open terraces stepping down from the top level to the street.
The ground floor is opened up almost completely: the volume holding the rooms rests on a line of raking columns, leaving public space running through underneath. The cascade is a series of accessible green roofs, one per step: permanent load from the soil, and waterproofing and drainage details of their own where an ordinary roof would otherwise have been.
The hotel facilities are gathered inside: a restaurant and city café on the ground floor, workspace, a lobby, laundry and parking. A patio with seating opens onto the courtyard.
